Samuel Staples (b. Canada) is a curator, writer, and editor based between Berlin and Paris. Working across exhibitions, publishing, and criticism, he has developed projects with artists including Jon Rafman, Tobias Spichtig, Anna Uddenberg, H.R. Giger, and Mire Lee. From 2022 to 2023, he was Curatorial Assistant at Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin, where he also presented the Berlin launch of The Opioid Crisis Lookbook with Bjarne Melgaard. His writing has appeared in Texte zur Kunst, Arcane Press, and other publications.
